Thanks to sponsorship from Quadrant Energy, the highly acclaimed Musica Viva in Schools Program was in Exmouth in August 2018. The visit included two days of workshops at Exmouth District High School and culminated in a free community concert at Federation Park to showcase the student’s work.
Quadrant Energy has sponsored Musica Viva to visit Exmouth since 2016.
WA State Manager for Musica Viva, Chris van Tuinen, said music education has a profound impact on the lives of students at all levels. “The support of Quadrant Energy allows us to bring this experience to students in Exmouth, with the added opportunity to share music-making with the community,” he said.
Musica Viva, a not‐for‐profit organisation, has been championing music in the classroom since 1981. Programs inspire and educate through live music performance, and students from all over the country have the opportunity to participate and engage with professional musicians.
