Brett Darley was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Quadrant Energy in June 2015. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, both in Australia and overseas, with technical, operational, commercial and management experience across varied assets, onshore and offshore.
Before moving to Apache Energy in 2012, Brett served in leadership roles including Vice President of Drilling & Completions at Woodside Energy and Drilling Manager at Santos. He was appointed as Managing Director and Region Vice President for Apache Energy Limited in July 2014 leading all activities in the Australia portfolio.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Queensland and is a Chartered Engineer. He is a current Board Member of the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), a member of the Curtin Business School Advisory Council, an elected member of the General Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of WA, and a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
Ian was appointed Chief Financial Officer at Quadrant Energy in September 2015. He has more than 20 years’ experience in finance, commercial and executive roles in the oil and gas, mining, minerals processing and engineering sectors. He has previously worked as CFO for a range of companies and most recently served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Mirabela Nickel Limited.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Lesley is an experienced executive with more than 25 years’ experience within the international and Australian oil and gas industry, with business experience in Human Resources, Strategic Planning, Joint Venture Management, Emergency Management, Sustainability, Indigenous and Government Affairs and Mergers and Acquisitions.
In her current role, Lesley is responsible for delivering a range of services that support the business in achieving its strategic goals including Health, Safety and Environment, Government and Public Affairs, Human Resources, Training and Development and Enterprise Risk.
Lesley has previously worked for Santos, Woodside, AMEC and Schlumberger. Holding qualifications from the CIPD (UK), Lesley is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Fred has a broad international background in petroleum geology, with extensive capability in both exploration and development. With more than 30 years’ experience in a range of technical and managerial roles, he has led upstream activities in Australia since 2010. Bringing globally recognised experience from across the USA, Middle East and Australasia, Fred is accountable for delivering the Exploration and Appraisal strategy.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology), from Emory University in Atlanta USA, and a PhD in Geology from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Virginia USA.
Minh has more than 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, ranging from roles in operations support, engineering and project management, covering onshore gas, deepwater oil, and enhanced oil recovery project work, to subsea development and operation management. Most recently he has managed Quadrant Energy’s Drilling, Projects and Supply Chain teams.
Minh is responsible for delivering Quadrant Energy’s Technology Strategy to support the organisation’s current and future assets.
Minh holds a Masters of Engineering Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from London’s Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine.
Ian has more than 20 years’ experience in oil and gas operational roles both internationally and in Australia, most recently as Quadrant’s Director of Operations. Ian is responsible for the safe and efficient management of Quadrant Energy’s supply chain, drilling, production, Brownfield projects and Operational Joint Venture Management.
Ian holds a Master’s Degree in Management from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is presently Chairperson of the Industry Advisory Board for ACEPT (Australian Centre for Energy & Process Training). In addition he retains Chartered Manager status in the UK and is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
Graham has more than 15 years’ management experience, with senior positions held in the construction and oil and gas services industry, supply chain and commercial, and most recently domestic gas and international oil marketing.
Graham has extensive experience in Joint Venture and Commercial Management and delivering business growth opportunities.
Phillip has more than 30 years’ experience in the legal profession and the resources sector across the globe, covering the full range of oil and gas related transactions from exploration and project development, acquisitions and divestments, corporate governance, to litigation and regulatory compliance. Previously Managing Region Legal Counsel Asia: Pacific for a major oil services company, Phillip also has more than 15 years’ experience as a public company director.
He holds degrees in Law (B. Juris, LLB) and Management (MBA), and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Phillip is admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor.
