Brett Darley was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Quadrant Energy in June 2015. He has more than 25 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, both in Australia and overseas, with technical, operational and commercial roles across varied assets, onshore and offshore.
Before moving to Apache Energy in 2012, Brett served as Vice President of Drilling & Completions at Woodside Energy during the Pluto development and deep water exploration campaigns. He was appointed as Managing Director and Region Vice President for Apache Energy Limited in July 2014.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from the University of Queensland and is a Chartered Engineer. He is current Board Member of the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), and a member of the Curtin Business School Advisory Council.
Ian has more than 20 years’ experience in finance, commercial and executive roles in the mining, minerals processing and engineering/contracting sectors. He has previously worked as CFO for a range of companies and most recently served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Mirabela Nickel Limited.
Ian holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Lesley has more than 25 years’ experience within the international and Australian oil and gas industry, holding senior Human Resources roles in both Operating and Contracting organisations. Lesley brings experience in delivering the organisational capability required to meet the business demands within a culture that encourages optimal performance. Lesley has previously worked for Santos, Woodside, AMEC and Schlumberger.
With qualifications from the CIPD (UK), Lesley is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Fred has a broad international background in petroleum geology, with extensive capability in both exploration and development. With more than 30 years’ experience in a range of international roles, he has led upstream exploration activities in Australia since 2010.
Fred holds a Bachelor of Science (Geology), from Emory University in Atlanta USA, and a PhD in Geology from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute, Virginia USA.
Craig has more than 24 years’ experience across a range of reservoir engineering disciplines including field development optimisation, workovers and recompletions, and technology initiatives to enhance production and safeguard reserves. His expertise includes reservoir description, simulation modelling, PVT analysis, production data analysis, well performance modelling and well test interpretation.
Craig holds a Masters in Engineering from Strathclyde University, Scotland, is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a member and past London Group board member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Minh has more than 20 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, ranging from roles in operations support, engineering and project management, covering onshore gas, deepwater oil, and enhanced oil recovery project work, to subsea development and operation management. Most recently he has managed Quadrant Energy’s Health, Safety and Environment team.
Minh holds a Masters of Engineering Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from London’s Imperial College of Science, Technology, and Medicine.
Ian has more than 22 years’ experience in oil and gas operational roles, both internationally and in Australia. Transferring to Australia from the UK’s Forties Field in 2006, he performed the role of Field Manager on three facilities before moving to an office based role. Ian previously held the position of Production Manager for Quadrant Energy.
Ian holds a Master’s Degree in Management from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a member of the Industry Advisory Board for the Australian Centre for Energy & Process Training (ACEPT).
Graham has more than 15 years’ management experience, with senior positions held in the construction and oil and gas services industry, supply chain and commercial, and most recently domestic gas and international oil marketing.
Peter has more than 20 years’ experience in the upstream oil and gas industry, both on and offshore, predominantly in drilling operations. He has worked for Santos, Woodside and Apache, has been in leadership roles for the last 12 years, and is experienced in all aspects of project management.
Peter holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Adelaide.
Phillip has more than 30 years’ experience in the legal profession and the resources sector across the globe, covering the full range of oil and gas related transactions from exploration and project development, acquisitions and divestments, corporate governance, to litigation and regulatory compliance. Previously Managing Region Legal Counsel Asia: Pacific for a major oil services company, Phillip also has more than 15 years’ experience as a public company director.
He holds degrees in Law (B. Juris, LLB) and Management (MBA), and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Phillip is admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor.
